first night of autumn

the first night of autumn came too soon, i could see my breath dissapear into the cold black sky, your hair danced in the wind as i held you close, a tear ran down my cheek and hit the floor, you whispered il see you soon as i said goodbye.we both knew that wouldnt be soon. the heavens opened on the dead drive home with only you running through my mind. i cant stop running away from reality. this distance always catches up on me. so dark tonight the moon came too close, i miss your smile that warmed my soul and those cold city nights i grew to love. the pain of missing you is worth every ache, swore and stitch but still you dont understand. i couldnt kiss you one last time, without letting you know your always be mine.

This has come of bit of a shock to the system. didnt really believe it to start with but its happening and im fully stoked to get away for a few days across the other side of the world to Singapore and Kuala Lumpa to play 2 shows. Even better the dudes in gold kids will be playing and ghost town. I was told that Break Even will be attending as they were playing a night before in the same city so it will be awsome to meet those dudes. mosh

DEAD SWANS MORE THAN LIFE (knee party tour)

So just got back from 2 and a half weeks away from reality with my friends in dead swans. Had the best time ever, met some awsome people and some people who really sucked (cliff) nah he is alright. We had some very long drives that meant we had to sleep in the van overnight while travvelling in a piece of shit van that drove at a top speed of 60mph downhill and with the wind behind us so meant it took even longer. We all sufferd from this, a cramped van, everyone smelled like horse shit, bruised knees and ankles, sleeping on the floor of the van if your lucky enough, unwashed and suprising not that many arguments occured during the drives. Our ROCKER driver Cliff (burton) drove 20hours nonstop from west germany to sweeden and didn't complain once........? he is a little bit strange but an awsome dude. He had 4 toes on his right foot from a motorbike accident with his ROCKER girlfriend at the time and he doesnt seem anything wrong with having a WHITE POWER section on his ipod with 46 bands in the genre. But apart from that and smeeling like shit he did an awsome job. We had time to walk around the cities we were playing in which is always an enjoyable and memorable part of going on tour for me, having photograph oppertunities and enjoying travvelling with friends and just hanging out.
The shows were awsome, played to a busy and lively crowd on most nights which always means alot to me and some nights were better than expected even when we were feeling tired and drained. Ive never been any good at remembering what has happend and then writing about it, but i took some photos while we were away and got them developed yesterday so i should have them scanned in and up in next few days. ROCK ON
